Your Story

One human dilemma is that we all want to be loved, but in order to be loved, we got to be known, and the risk in being known is being rejected. When we come into relationships and reveal to people that they won’t be rejected, it opens up all kinds of possibilities in the relationship.

We live in a busy and noisy world, people live in a  world of isolation and secrets.  We think people want badly to be heard. They want to belong to something bigger than themselves.  They want someone to come into their life and to listen to their story in a safe and non-judgmental way. People are looking for friends. Friends who have enough time and patience to listen to someone’s story besides their own. Friends who won’t change their mind based on their stories or confessions.

Faith is

a place where our spirits in the presence of love, relax from the strain put upon us by the pressures of life.  It is the circle where listening ears allow us to unpack our hearts with words, knowing that understanding sympathy will keep what is worthwhile, and throw away the waste.  It is the environment where young ones, in life or in faith, lean on us and look up to us and the stories we write by the lives we live.  It is the place where we are praised, not in terms of marketed success, but on the basis of what we are, what we are becoming.

We would love to hear your story, your thoughts, your questions, your joys, your pains.  While we would prefer to sit down and talk face-to-face, by calling or emailing us so we can set up a time, we also understand that that can be sometimes a little intimidating at first.  So we wanted to create a space here where you we could start sharing your stories.

We look forward to hearing from you.

    Hello!

I wanted to introduce you to Fandana Festival, the only mutli-day Christian music festival in the state of Indiana, located on the campus of Huntington University in Huntington, IN. Our kick-off year was this past August and we plan on another great lineup and experience for 2012. You can check out the promo video at the link provided below for a fun, informative look at Fandana 2011.

As our marketing and planning for the second annual Fandana begins, I’d love to get a chance to hear your thoughts on how we can make Fandana an ideal fit for you, your church, and your youth group. I’ll be making trips throughout the state to meet with youth pastors in person, but we can also set up a phone call, if you prefer. Just let me know if you’d be willing to give some input!

Otherwise, we hope that you’ll mark Fandana 2012 on your church calendar right away for August 10&11, 2012. We will likely be extending to a third evening as well, but that will be announced in coming months. We also just had our first headliner announcement and are excited to have Chris Tomlin performing Friday night. There will be special, flexible packages for youth groups and churches that you won’t want to miss either. If you respond to this e-mail, I can put you on a list that receives more information on these discounted packages as soon as we have them available.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any of the information below.

Thanks for your time and hope you check out the video:
