Stewards of Earth

Faith has joined an exciting new program and would love to have the support of anyone who wants to join with us.   It is a partnership with a company called Terracycle, It’s a company that recycles common trash.  There are different options you can sign up for, and we have currently signed up for the following:

CANDY WRAPPER BRIGADE: Individual candy wrappers, large candy bags, Multi-pack candy bags (Easter/Christmas Fun Size candy included!)

DRINK POUCH BRIGADE: Aluminum-lined drink pouches, Plastic drink pouches

PERSONAL CARE & BEAUTY BRIGADE: Make-up Cases/Tubes/Bottles, Shampoo/Bodywash bottles, Lotion tubes/bottles, Soap dispensers, Nail polish/Remover bottles

The way it works is we collect these items, and once we get a box full, we’ll send it in.  Faith will receive $0.02 per item of trash we send in and we’re keeping it out of the landfills – it’s a win-win!

Students and families from all around have all sorts of drink pouches and candy wrappers going right in the trash bin.  Encourage your neighbors and other parents to bring in items from home, that would be great too!
